CLICK HERE for guidance with our Course Matrix! If you have enough background to understand The Basics, but you are not yet licensed, sign up for the IRC. Moderately Experienced: If you have a motorcycle permit, have been riding your own motorcycle for a month or so, or are an experienced rider who has not been riding for quite some time, this course is for you. You'll meet a variety of riders and have an opportunity to observe how different types of bikes perform.
Master Your Motorcycle: You will have the opportunity to master your motorcycle in the Intermediate Rider's Course. This 5 hour course is designed to rapidly familiarize you with your motorcycle and to better prepare you for a variety street riding experiences. This course uses MSF developed classroom material and riding exercises.
No minimum Experience Requirement: However you must be able to competently operate a motorcycle through all basic motorcycle skills. All IRC participants must have an Instruction Permit or an "M" endorsement before attending our class. There is a skills test at the end of this course which on successful completion will waive Arizona's on-cycle license riding test. Your Bike: You must ride your own motorcycle for this course (any size or type).
Get Your License: Riders who successfully complete the Intermediate RiderCourse and pass the skills test at the end of the course will be exempt from Arizona's on-cycle license riding test.
