The BRC: The Basic RiderCourse - The standard class for new motorcyclists and the path toward obtaining a motorcycle license. Nationally recognized curriculum to prepare for licensing and road-riding. Classroom and riding activities to prepare you for riding on the street. A wide variety of schedules to meet your needs; weekdays, weekday evenings, and weekends available in many locations. When you have passed the BRC, you will not be required to complete the state administered motorcycle license tests.

Ladies Only: BRC - T.E.A.M. Arizona can also accomodate the BRC in a Ladies- Only format. Classroom sessions may be co-ed, but all riding activity will be for ladies only. You must have a minimum group size of 6 ladies for this option.

The Latest Methods: The BRC is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's course of instruction developed specifically for beginning riders. The BRC makes use of classroom learning experiences and hands-on riding exercises to introduce new riders to motorcycling. The BRC takes a  gradual approach to developing a beginner's riding skills. As a result, learning to ride, while highly challenging,  is less stressful and even more fun than ever before. Overall, the course teaches key information and  manipulative skills that have always been considered crucial. The course's teaching style makes learning to ride more accessible than ever before.

Become a Skilled Operator: In the Basic RiderCourse course we help you to learn: to operate a motorcycle, the best protective clothing to wear, how to avoid dangerous situations, and what's most important, how to get out of those dangerous situations that you can't avoid. You are shown how to make your motorcycle perform like an extension of yourself. When you reach the end of the Basic Rider's Course we'll be challenging your skills at the two-year rider level. Upon successful completion of the course and tests you'll be qualified to have the motorcyclist's endorsement added to your driver's license. The best part is that you don't need to have a motorcycle, we'll provide you with a bike, helmet, even gloves. This course is scheduled every week and weekend.

Get your license: Riders who successfully complete the Basic RiderCourse will be exempt from Arizona's written and on-cycle license tests.

Insurance Discount: Riders who successfully complete the Basic RiderCourse may also be eligible for discounts on their motorcycle insurance from many major insurance carriers.

Content: Classroom, including tests & MVD test exemption: 5.5 hours, Riding Skills Development: 10 hours
